National School Social Worker week took place on March 2nd - 8th. WCS wanted to take the time to say job well done, and recongnize Mrs. Dina Brown and Mrs. Rosalind Bell. School Social Workers (SSW) serve as a crucial bridge between the home, school, and community, connecting all three to provide the comprehensive support necessary for students' success. Through their work, students receive guidance to overcome challenges, improve academic performance, build better relationships, and develop coping skills.
SSW's play an instrumental role in promoting a positive and nurturing school environment. They advocate for policies that are fair, responsive, and supportive, ensuring that every student feels safe and valued. With a focus on early intervention and positive behavioral strategies, SSW's not only help manage crises but work proactively to create a foundation for lasting success.
For giving tireless efforts and dedication to the well-being and academic success of our students, WCS express our deepest gratitude.
Thank You!
