Due to ongoing concerns with road conditions in the towns of Roper and Creswell, as well as several back roads that remain covered with slush and ice, all Washington County Schools will be closed for students tomorrow, Friday, February 6th, and the day will be designated as an optional teacher workday for staff. With temperatures expected to drop into the teens tonight and remain below freezing until at least midday tomorrow, travel conditions are expected to worsen.

Thank you for your understanding, and please stay safe.

Due to expected weather conditions overnight, all students will follow a remote learning schedule on Thursday, February 5. Colder air may cause light freezing precipitation, and wet or slushy areas could refreeze by morning. Students should follow their regular remote learning schedules. Staff may use Thursday as an optional workday if travel can be done safely. Please contact your immediate supervisor if travel is a concern or you have any additional questions.

Weather permitting, we plan to return to a full, in-person day on Friday, February 6.

Good Evening Panther Family This Principal Peele with this week's announcements. Due to the winter weather, school will be closed for students and staff on Monday 2/2. Tuesday and Wednesday will be considered remote learning days. Students brought home packets that will need to be completed daily on Tuesday and Wednesday in order for the student to be counted present on those days when we return back to school. All daily assignments have to be completed for this to count as their attendance. Some of the assignments will also be for grades. Report cards will go home with students on the day we returned back to school. There will be more updates throughout the week to keep you informed. This is the end of the announcements. Thank you and please be safe and take care.
