Good evening Mighty Tiger Cub Families, This is Principal Carmack with a few exciting upcoming events happening this week at CES. I'm thrilled to announce that Title 1 Accountability Night is just around the corner, and it's going to be an evening full of information, resources and ways you can help your child at home. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 27, 2023, and get ready to engage in some enriching activities and information that will help us grow and thrive as a community. Flyers with all the details have been sent home with your children today, so be sure to check their daily folders and planners. Additionally, On Friday, September 29, 2023, our school will transform into a canvas of smiles because it's School Picture Day! I encourage all our amazing students to bring their best smiles and capture these unforgettable moments. These pictures will be cherished for years to come. As we dive into this week, I want to emphasize the importance of reading with your children every night for at least 30 minutes. It's a simple yet incredibly powerful way to foster their love for learning and imagination. Thank you for your continuous support and dedication to our Mighty Tiger Cubs. Dear Washington County Schools’ Family, The National Hurricane Center has issued a tropical storm warning for parts of the East Coast to include North Eastern North Carolina. This means tropical storm force winds and heavy rainfalls are expected in the next 36 hours. Therefore, all Washington County Schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday, September 22nd to include all extracurricular activities.
