HAPPY SATURDAY Tiger Cub Families, This is Jai’La Carmack and I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Principal of Creswell Elementary School and a proud product of Washington County Schools! Returning to this amazing school and community is truly an honor. Our tradition of excellence in education focuses on academic, social, and emotional growth. I'm dedicated to supporting teachers in nurturing eager learners and compassionate individuals. We also promote our dual language program, student leadership, and caring through a giving culture. Collaboration and innovation will drive us to invoke meaningful, fulfilling achievements this year. I'm committed to embracing diversity, fostering inclusivity, and creating an enriching learning community. With 7 years of diverse educational experience, I'm well-prepared to meet teachers and students' needs. My goal is to empower our teachers and ensure a year of quality instruction and purposeful experiences for our students. Also, quick update! Because we want to hear your mighty roars this year tiger cub parents, we're revitalizing the PTA for your input, with a sign-up form during our open house which will take place on August 23rd from 2pm to 6pm. Good Afternoon WCS Parents and Scholars. Please join us this afternoon for the WCS Summer Camp Showcase, featuring Read to Achieve, Summer Bridge, CTE, and AIG Summer Camps. The Showcase will be at Washington County Middle School starting at 6:00 pm. All are welcome!

CARE - Cultivation Awareness and Resilience in Education for Administrators and Principals was a huge success. We learned about startegies to assist us with Social Emotional Learning, centering our energy, minsfulness, awareness and coping with triggers.

Current/New Substitute Orientation will be held on July 11-12 at 10am-1pm at the Pre-K Roper building. You must attend one of the dates provided to pursue employment for the 2023-2024 school year. You can only attend one session. All current subs please check your emails for the link to confirm a date of orientation attendance. New Subs must complete the Online Substitute 101 course at http://www.wresa.org, before attending orientation.
