Spotlight on Washington County School Alumni: Adam Moore Jr. It is with great pride that we spotlight one of our distinguished alumni, Adam Moore Jr., a graduate of Plymouth High School in 2017. Adam is an alumnus of PHS. Adam's journey post-graduation is nothing short of inspiring. After completing high school, he pursued higher education and graduated from Queens University of Charlotte in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. Currently, Adam serves as a PE teacher at Telra Institute in Charlotte, NC. During his time at Washington County School, Adam engaged in a Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathway, contributing to his holistic skill development and shaping his career path. In reflecting on his experiences, Adam shares invaluable advice for current Washington County Schools students: "Never let where you are from or areas where you may be lacking dictate your dreams and aspirations. Never compare your life and your process with others. God has a purpose for the ups and downs that happen in our lives. It’s all a part of our testimony that will impact future generations." Additionally, Adam has expressed an interest in giving back to his alma mater by being a guest speaker or serving on a panel. If any students or educators are interested in engaging with Adam virtually or in person, we welcome the opportunity to connect.
