Another amazing Pep Rally today as we celebrated the start of National Hispanic Heritage Month! September 15 - October 15.
Our Student Government Association (SGA), fall sports teams, including Varsity Volleyball, Varsity Cheerleading, and Varsity Football, were front and center, and we couldn't be prouder of their dedication and hard work!
The cheerleaders kept the energy high with their spirited cheers, and the minute-to-win-it basketball competition had us all on the edge of our seats! 🏀🔥 Congratulations to K'Mari Wilkins, Braeden Chesson, D'Asia Bonds, and Ke'Shone Brooks for their participation and for representing their class in the basketball minute to win it competition. The overall victory went to Senior Ke'Shone Brooks who not only beat all the underclassmen, but Mr. Barber, too! 🏆👏
A special thank you goes out to our dedicated staff members who prepared and passed out popcorn and water to students during the pep rally - a nice pep rally snack to keep our energy high!
The dancing and singing/karaoke moments had the crowd hyped up, and Principal Hines reminded us to stay focused on our studies and attendance. Ms. Breiner stressed the urgency -- there are less than 55 days left of learning for this semester, with EOCs and testing in December just around the corner.
