Board Meeting Notification
The Washington County Board of Education meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at the boardroom located at 509 Adams Street, Plymouth, NC. The boardroom is now open for guests. Masks are optional. If you would like to participate in public participation, please email your name and topic to the board clerk at least by 12:00 noon the day of the meeting at boardclerk@wcsnc.org. Participants will have 3 minutes to comment.
We will have closed session in accordance with NC General Statutes 143-318.11(a)(1) To prevent the disclosure of information that is privileged or confidential or not considered a public record under NC General Statute No. 143-318.11(a)(1) pursuant to 115C-319, 115C-402 and 20 US Code 1232g143-318.11(a)(3) in order to confer with the Board Attorney regarding a matter within the attorney/client privilege and to preserve that privilege; and with NC General Statutes 143-318.11(a)(6) in order to discuss one or more personnel matters that are confidential under North Carolina law. The closed session will begin at 4:30 p.m.
